Meetup & Networking Event on July 2nd: Promoting Women's Advancement for Innovation at LIXIL ~Considering Organizational Transformation as a Management Strategy and Hiring Female Managers to Become a 'Preferred Company'~

Pasona Inc. will hold a Meetup & Networking event titled "Promoting Women's Advancement for Innovation at LIXIL - Practicing D&I and Organizational Transformation as a Management Strategy" on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at PASONA SQUARE in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo. This event is targeted at executives and managers involved in human resources, recruitment, women's advancement, and D&I promotion.

Approximately 40 years have passed since the Equal Employment Opportunity Law was enacted, and 10 years since the Law for Promoting Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace came into effect. While progress has been made in promoting women's participation and D&I in companies, many challenges remain in increasing the ratio of women in management positions and fostering company-wide awareness and system utilization.

In recent years, there has been a growing demand to position women's advancement not merely as a numerical target, but as an integral part of management strategy, linking it to innovation and enhanced corporate competitiveness.

Therefore, this event will feature Mr. Tatsuo Nakai, Managing Executive Officer and Head of Japan HR & General Affairs Division at LIXIL Corporation. He will deliver a keynote address on the background of LIXIL's D&I promotion, its relationship with innovation, and initiatives for organizational transformation based on employee feedback.

Additionally, Ms. Junko Iwashita, Managing Executive Officer at Pasona, who is involved in the recruitment of female managers and leaders, will provide insights based on the changing priorities and values of female managers and leaders when choosing a company. She will explain recruitment strategies and environmental improvements to become a "preferred company," incorporating practical examples.

Furthermore, the latter half of the event will provide a platform for participants to network and exchange information. This will be an opportunity to discuss common challenges and initiatives related to women's advancement, D&I promotion, and talent acquisition.
