Pasona to Host Online Seminar on June 30 for Companies Seeking to Recruit International Students in Himeji City

Pasona Co., Ltd. will host an online 'Exhibitor Information Seminar' on Tuesday, June 30, for companies considering participation in the upcoming 'Joint Company Information Session for International Students,' scheduled for September 2026. This seminar is part of the 'Implementation of the 8th Reiwa Year Joint Company Information Session for International Students' project commissioned by Himeji City.

In Japan, due to declining birthrates and an aging population, the labor force is shrinking. In particular, regions outside major metropolitan areas face urgent challenges in securing young talent. International students studying in Japan possess a deep understanding of Japanese culture, strong language skills, and international perspectives, making them valuable assets for corporate globalization and fostering diverse workplaces. As a result, interest in hiring international talent is growing among companies in Himeji City.

This initiative aims to create opportunities for companies in Himeji City and the Harima region to showcase their appeal to international talent, while also helping international students learn about local companies and expand their employment opportunities.

The upcoming 'Exhibitor Information Seminar' will provide explanations on the project's overview and objectives, including preparation before participation and follow-up procedures. It will also cover last year's event outcomes, the hiring process for foreign nationals, and foundational knowledge regarding residence status.
