'Crimson Desert' Reveals April-June Update Schedule in Developer Notes

Pearl Abyss Corp. (Headquarters: Gwacheon, South Korea) released a "Developer Note" on the official website of the open-world action-adventure game "Crimson Desert" on April 10, 2026.

This note details the plans to sequentially roll out new content additions and improvements to operability and the playing environment based on feedback from global users, from April to June.

Addition of Boss Rematches, Re-lockdowns, and Difficulty Settings New content and features will be implemented so players can more deeply enjoy combat on the continent of Pywel.

In "Boss Rematch," players can re-challenge memorable bosses from the main story using various strategies. In "Re-lockdown," players can re-experience the one-versus-many combat of base liberation, utilizing it as a place to test their own combat skills.

Furthermore, to accommodate not only users engaging in intense combat but also those who find the combat difficult, a difficulty setting feature will also be added.

Expansion of Character Skills and Appearance Customization The "Palm Wave" and "Power of Providence" skills, previously only usable by Kliff, will be added in forms tailored to the respective styles of "Demian" and "Unka". This reflects feedback received from global users.

Regarding costumes, in addition to adding a new lineup, the specifications will be revised so that some costumes that could previously only be sold or donated can now be worn directly, expanding the range of their utility.

A feature to hide weapons equipped on the back will be added.

Addition of New Pets, Mounts, and Exclusive Armor New pets and mounts will be added to make exploration in the open world more enjoyable. In addition to horse armor, exclusive armor corresponding to each mount will be prepared, supporting a wide variety of customization tailored to player preferences.

Enhancement of Distance Graphic Quality The quality of the distant landscape rendering of the Pywel continent will be improved. In this developer note, a preview video of the improved distant scenery has also been released, and adjustments are underway to more delicately express the beautiful landscapes of the continent.
