Pias Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Kuwano, hereinafter "Pias") is pleased to announce that "AirTrip for d Value Pass," offered through NTT Docomo Inc.'s (hereinafter "Docomo") smartphone service "d Value Pass®"*1*2, will begin offering discount coupons for standalone domestic hotel bookings. This service is part of a joint business based on a business partnership between Pias and AirTrip Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO, CFO: Yusuke Shibata, hereinafter "AirTrip").

"AirTrip for d Value Pass" has been provided as the fourth content offering by Pias within Docomo's "d Value Pass®" since April 21, 2026. Previously, discount coupons were available for "AirTrip Plus," a package plan for flights and hotels. Now, discount coupons that can be used for standalone hotel bookings will be added. This will further expand the opportunities for "d Value Pass®" members to use the service, aiming to promote continued use of travel services and improve customer lifetime value (LTV).

*1 As of March 1, 2026, the name was changed from "Sugotoku Content®" to "d Value Pass®".

*2 "d Value Pass" is a service provided by NTT Docomo Inc. that allows unlimited access to a wide range of content for a monthly fee of 550 yen (tax included). The monthly usage fee is free for the first 31 days from the initial application.

"d Value Pass" is a registered trademark of NTT Docomo, Inc.

Background and Key Points of This Initiative

The domestic travel market is showing signs of renewed growth. However, travel services are characterized by low-frequency consumption, posing structural challenges in building continuous customer touchpoints and leading to price competition. It is crucial to create a system that directly appeals to accommodation demand on platforms with daily touchpoints, encouraging repeat usage.

Furthermore, discount coupons for hotel bookings in online travel reservations are primarily issued individually by specific accommodations or offered for limited periods and quantities during sales. Universal coupons that can be used continuously regardless of the accommodation facility are limited. This new coupon is characterized by its applicability based on the accommodation amount, without being limited to specific facilities. This design is intended to be easy for users to understand and to broaden usage and encourage repeat use.

In addition, standalone hotel bookings have a wider user base compared to flight package bookings and can be expected to be used more frequently and repeatedly. This makes them a valuable touchpoint for providing continuous value to "d Value Pass®" members.

Coupon Details

This coupon applies to standalone domestic hotel bookings through AirTrip within "AirTrip for d Value Pass." Discounts will be applied based on the booking amount as follows:

Expected Synergy

AirTrip is one of the largest OTAs (Online Travel Agents) in terms of domestic flight handling volume. For hotels, it boasts extensive travel inventory, handling over 20,000 domestic accommodations, and offers competitive pricing. While there are approximately 53,000 hotels and inns in Japan, only about 20,000 to 20,000+ are considered active and primarily handle internet reservations. AirTrip's handled facilities are estimated to represent approximately 80-90% of these active facilities (our estimation). Users can select accommodations that meet their needs from a wide range of facilities. Through this coupon, users can enjoy a more convenient travel booking experience.

On the other hand, Pias has strengths in OMO (Online-to-Offline) marketing, combining its track record of developing multiple content offerings on platforms like Docomo's "d Value Pass®," sales promotion design and operation utilizing its member base, and real customer touchpoints.

By combining the strengths of both companies—AirTrip's extensive hotel inventory and price advantage with Pias's platform operation and sales promotion design expertise—we aim to integrate low-frequency travel services into daily touchpoints and promote the creation of new accommodation demand based on continued usage.

Future Outlook

Moving forward, based on the usage trends of this coupon, we will optimize the scope of application and benefit design to further enhance the attractive and continuous value provided to "d Value Pass®" members. Additionally, we will strengthen collaboration with features such as d Point lottery functions and incentive programs to promote increased usage frequency and user engagement in the travel service domain, thereby contributing to the sustainable improvement of LTV (Customer Lifetime Value).

The Pias Group, with its purpose of "NEW NORMAL ACCELERATION," aims to optimize communication across all industries by supporting digital transformation in sales and customer touchpoint areas and by building generative AI utilization models rooted in the field.

Service Overview

* The start date for offering discount coupons for standalone hotel bookings is July 1, 2026.
