The pre-event announcement release for this event was reprinted by over 52 media outlets, including "Walkerplus" and "NewsPicks," immediately after distribution, attracting significant attention. On the day of the event, it was a huge success, with over 30 groups lining up before opening, demonstrating the ability to simultaneously attract families to commercial facilities and provide high-quality inquiry-based learning.

The scene before the opening. A constant line of parents and children looking forward to the opening, with the venue buzzing with energy all day. By focusing on "career education," which goes beyond mere "play" and is of extreme interest to parents, we created a powerful draw and buzz for the commercial facility.

Collaboration with Local Shop "Dagashiya Hop." A Business Experience to Learn Even the "Inconvenient Realities" of Commerce

The highlight of this event, the "Kids Store Manager Project," featured an authentic business simulation in partnership with the beloved local candy store "Dagashiya Hop."

Children went beyond just being store clerks. A preparatory meeting was held on a separate day prior to the main event, allowing them to complete the following processes themselves:

Fundraising: Borrowing "seed money" from a bank and learning about interest.

Professional Skills: Customer service training by "Dagashiya Hop" and learning how to design a store that excites customers.

Marketing: Not just buying and selling, but devising ways to add value through "games" and "workshops" to generate profit.

Profit Calculation: After sales ended, they personally calculated the "profit" by subtracting the seed money from sales, experiencing firsthand the difficulties and joys of management.

The preparatory meeting held on June 14. First, they experienced borrowing from the bank, and the children thought like small business owners.

Scene of inventory consideration. Facing the wholesale price list, they seriously discussed "At what price should we sell to make a profit?" and "How can we sell it at a higher price?"

Proving "Planning Power for Customer Attraction." Building a "Circular Scheme" to Make Kids Store Managers Successful

Normally, it is not easy to continuously attract active customers by holding a "Kids Store Manager" event alone at a shopping mall. Pendemy strategically planned a package that included the simultaneous holding of "Kids Work Town" next door.

Place to Earn (Work Town): Work as a photographer or trading company employee and earn the special currency "Pen."

Place to Spend (Kids Store Manager): Take the earned salary and go shopping at the neighboring shop.

By designing an economic cycle of "labor → reward → consumption" within the venue, we created a system where participating children moved around the town, keeping the shop area constantly busy. This "planning ability that even designs consumer movement" was the point highly praised by facility managers.

A child engrossed in a manga artist experience. By placing experiential booths for "dream professions" at the entrance, we achieve a high level of appeal of "content that captivates children" and "educational significance."

Shopping at the Kids Store Manager's shop with the special currency "Pen" earned in the work area. The construction of this circular scheme of "working (labor) → earning (reward) → spending (consumption)" was the key to creating high circulation within the venue and all-day liveliness.
