Pixy Inc. (Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Teppei Ogura) conducted a survey on its insurance comparison site "Pixy Pet Insurance Comparison" (https://pi-xy.co.jp/) targeting pet owners enrolled in pet insurance, to clarify the relationship between satisfaction and coverage percentage.

・"Satisfied" with pet insurance: 29%, "Somewhat Satisfied": 49%

・ The "Outpatient, Inpatient, Surgery" full coverage type is mainstream at 81.5%

・ Full coverage type, pet insurance with a 70% coverage ratio is the most popular

・ On the other hand, the coverage ratio that resulted in the highest satisfaction was "100%"

Pet Insurance Subscribers' "Satisfaction" is Approximately 80%!

When asked about pet insurance satisfaction, combining "Satisfied" (29%) and "Somewhat Satisfied" (49%), approximately 80% of the total gave a positive evaluation. On the other hand, no one responded with "Not Satisfied".

From these results, it can be inferred that many pet owners enrolled in pet insurance are generally satisfied with their current coverage. Furthermore, when comparing satisfaction between dog and cat owners, a trend of higher satisfaction among dog owners was observed.
