New additions include "Food" and "Manufacturing," offering an even deeper experience of Yonezawa's craftsmanship!

This year, the event has expanded to include a total of 31 companies and organizations! Special attention should be paid to the 10 companies and organizations participating for the first time.

You can now visit companies that produce Yonezawa's famous "Yonezawa Beef," the bento box "Gyunikudoman Naka," and the long-loved traditional food "Yukiwari Natto."

Furthermore, companies from the "Manufacturing" sector are joining for the first time. A diverse range of manufacturing will be showcased, including large machine covers and design sheet metal crafted with freeform metal processing, transmission control equipment essential for operating machinery, interior and exterior automotive parts, and electronic devices utilizing AI and IoT.

Of course, companies involved in "Yonezawa-ori (Yonezawa Weaving)" and "Fermentation/Brewing," which have continuously participated in 360°, will also be present this year. You can experience firsthand the manufacturing techniques nurtured and passed down in Yonezawa, from traditional industries to cutting-edge technologies.

In addition to these manufacturing companies, the event will also feature the "Maker's Festa," an exhibition and presentation of the latest technologies by a research group from Yamagata University, held concurrently. There will also be limited-time tours and experience programs by the "Rural Culture Research Institute (Okitama Folk Museum)," which houses a vast collection of folk materials and traditional crafts from the Okitama region of Yamagata Prefecture, including Yonezawa. A total of 98 programs (as of July 1) are available for viewing on the official website, including customer interaction events.

Executive Committee Headquarters Renewed! We look forward to seeing you at "Uesugi Joshien" on the day.

This year, the location of the 360° Yonezawa Open Factory Executive Committee Headquarters will change! A special corner will be set up near the entrance of the product floor at "Uesugi Joshien."

"Uesugi Joshien," where all of Yonezawa's delicious foods and specialties gather.

Until last year, the Executive Committee Headquarters was located in a building called "Yoneori Kaikan," which also housed the Yonezawa Textile Association, the secretariat for the Open Factory. Although it was a retro and charming building over 100 years old, it unfortunately closed its doors in November 2025 due to aging.

Concurrently, to make it more accessible for visitors to the Open Factory and easier to purchase souvenirs from their Yonezawa trip, we have arranged to use a section of "Uesugi Joshien" as our new headquarters.

We will set up an exhibition corner where you can view pamphlets for visiting participating companies, information on courses, and details about participating companies all in one place. We are also preparing to offer some of the participating companies' products for purchase here.

Headquarters for the 1st to 3rd events, pamphlets and wristbands were distributed to visitors at Yoneori Kaikan. Some participating company products will also be on sale.

For those who visit Yonezawa for 360° every year, please note that the location of the headquarters will be different from before. Information on the headquarters' location and other details will continue to be announced on the website and social media.

Only 2 months left until the main event! Through PR activities, we will deepen exchanges and collaborations with local communities.

In addition to disseminating information outside the region, we are collaborating with Yonezawa students and tourism industry professionals to raise awareness of the charms of manufacturing companies active in the region and to encourage them to join us in making the Open Factory a success as fellow residents of Yonezawa.

Students are assisting with planning and preparation as volunteer members of the "Sanroku Team," and we are planning hospitality plans for manufacturing company visitors with the "Onsen Yonezawa Hatto Kai," an association of 8 unique hot spring operators in Yonezawa. We are working together with the community in unique Yonezawa-style initiatives to make the Open Factory a success.

With approximately two months remaining until the main event in September, we will deliver plans that will make customers love Yonezawa even more, under the slogan "Yonezawa, Open."
