Long-Awaited Third Collaboration! Two Types of Hats Supervised by Yusuke Kawakita: Complete Sun Protection Covering Everything Except the Eyes

StylingLife Holdings PlazaStyle Company (Shinjuku, Tokyo) will launch two collaboration items, 'Yakanai de Cap' and 'Yakanai de Hat', created with popular hair and makeup artist Yusuke Kawakita, starting June 5, 2026, at PLAZA stores nationwide and the PLAZA Online Store. Prior to the store launch, a 5-day limited pre-order period will be held on the PLAZA Online Store from May 23 to May 27, 2026.

This is the long-awaited third installment of the special collaboration between PLAZA and Yusuke Kawakita, a highly popular artist active in television, magazines, and advertising.

Previous releases have seen tremendous responses, often selling out immediately. This year’s third collection features two items evolved to block intense summer sunlight with a high UV cut rate (over 90%) while achieving the 'face-slimming' effect Kawakita is known for. The 'Yakanai de Cap' and 'Yakanai de Hat' will be available in limited quantities starting June 5.

A key focus of this collection is the unique 'beautiful form.' By intentionally designing the hats with a large circumference of approximately 62cm, they achieve a face-slimming effect and reduce hair flattening after removal. Additionally, both items include a 'removable face cover' that covers everything except the eye area, providing thorough protection for the neck and profile. The face cover uses cool-touch fabric for a refreshing feel during sweaty seasons.

The 'Yakanai de Cap' features a long 10cm visor to block sunlight from the front. The 'Yakanai de Hat' boasts a wide brim up to 15cm and a pocket inside the back of the head for an ice pack, offering heat protection from within while physically guarding against the sun. Both items balance functionality and beauty to suit various summer lifestyles.

Pre-orders will be accepted at the PLAZA Online Store for five days from May 23 to 27. During this period, the online store will run a campaign with 10x PLAZA PASS points and free shipping for these items.
