Polygon Tailor Consulting, which supports corporate entry into the metaverse, and Skeb Co., Ltd. announced that the large-scale networking event 'Cho Meta Fes 2026,' held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Akihabara UDX, recorded over 20,000 total attendees. 'Cho Meta Fes 2026' is an event where users, creators, and related companies involved in virtual communities centered on VRChat gather for sales, exhibitions, and networking. The highlight of this year's event was the introduction of a pre-registration 'digital ticketing' system linked to VRChat accounts. Approximately 6,000 tickets were issued, effectively eliminating the long queues that were previously unavoidable at such events. The 4F corporate exhibition area featured numerous companies, including VRChat Inc. and Sanrio Co., Ltd. Additionally, the 'One-Off Auction' recorded a total of over 2.35 million yen in sales in about an hour. A networking party for 700 people was also held in the evening, making it a day that involved the entire Akihabara area throughout the day and night.
