Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuki Kato) has released the results of a user survey for 'Sagasokka!', an online encyclopedia service provided through the educational ICT platform 'MottoSokka!' for elementary and junior high schools. The survey results suggest that students using the service have developed the ability to gather information using the internet for tasks such as research projects. The survey was conducted via a web form between February and March 2026, targeting 317 elementary and junior high school students. The results showed that 93% of respondents felt confident in their ability to gather information online, a trend that increased with grade level. Furthermore, approximately 80% of students reported that they verify the accuracy of the information they find. Additionally, many students noted positive changes, such as 'increased curiosity to look things up' and 'greater awareness of information sources' since using Sagasokka!. Poplar Publishing provides trial IDs for school officials to support the adoption of the service.
