Okuyamato is a region composed of 19 municipalities in the southeastern part of Nara Prefecture. It has a long history as a sacred site for Shugendo, including the World Heritage-registered "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes of the Kii Mountain Range," and is an area rich in beautiful nature and resources such as Mt. Hachiyogatake, the highest peak in the Kinki region, cool highlands, clear streams, and charming hot springs.

Nara Prefecture is promoting outdoor and sports tourism as an initiative to revitalize the region by leveraging the rich natural environment of the Okuyamato area. As part of this effort, the "Japan Eco-Track Okuyamato Digital Stamp Rally 2026" will be held again this year, following last year's event.

By completing the designated routes, including cycling and trekking routes registered with "Japan Eco-Track Okuyamato," collecting digital stamps, and answering a survey, you can apply for a prize lottery to win specialty products from the Okuyamato region and outdoor gear.
