In coordination with Environment Month in June, Saitama Prefecture and Cocoon City (managed by Katakura Industries Co., Ltd.) will collaborate to hold the 'SDGs Fair @ Cocoon City 2026' from Friday, June 5, to Sunday, June 14.

The event includes SDG workshops hosted by companies—such as creating goods using waste plastic—exhibition booths for learning about SDGs through experience, and a clothing collection campaign.

Furthermore, the 'Saitama Uchimizu Operation 2026' will be held simultaneously to practice global warming and heat island countermeasures through 'Uchimizu' (sprinkling water). Participants will perform this traditional method of cooling summer days together to lower surface temperatures.
