Saitama Prefecture is recruiting producers interested in exporting high-quality agricultural products such as strawberries, tea, and rice to overseas markets. To lower the barrier to entry, the prefecture is hosting a free 5-session 'Export Intro Seminar' covering basics through practice. The kickoff seminar takes place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 13:30-16:00 at Omiya Sonic City Conference Room (capacity: 20). The guest lecturer is Fumiya Oguri of Accenture Japan, speaking on 'The value of pursuing exports and overseas market trends,' followed by a workshop. From Session 2 onward, the seminar will be delivered via live stream with archived replay available. A competitive 'Accompaniment Support' program (capacity: 5) is open to the most motivated producers. Selected participants receive one-on-one expert guidance through business document preparation, export diagnostics, online meetings with overseas buyers, test exports, and a study tour to FOOD STYLE JAPAN 2026 in Tokyo - all free of charge. Applications are submitted via the dedicated site at https://www.agriglobaldesign.info/saitama. Contact: Saitama Prefecture Agricultural Business Support Division, Tel 048-830-4107.
