Shizuoka Prefecture to Exhibit for the First Time at 'VivaTechnology 2026,' One of Europe's Largest Startup Conferences

Shizuoka Prefecture is promoting startup support with the goal of becoming a 'startup-friendly prefecture.' As a new project for fiscal year 2026, the prefecture will exhibit at 'VivaTechnology 2026,' one of Europe's largest startup conferences held in Paris this June, to support the global expansion of local startups. The prefecture will collaborate with other municipalities, including Tokyo, to set up 'JAPAN VILLAGE' to promote the Japanese startup ecosystem. A dedicated stage will be set up within 'JAPAN VILLAGE' to host pitch events and showcase Japanese technological prowess and innovation to the world.
