Night Cherry Blossom Illumination 'Michinoku Hana-akari' Now Open at Michinoku Park

Michinoku Park in Miyagi Prefecture is hosting its annual night cherry blossom illumination event, 'Michinoku Hana-akari,' until April 19. The event features approximately 100 Somei Yoshino cherry trees beautifully lit up with LED and moving lights, creating a magical atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy projection mapping, numerous photo spots, and food trucks on weekends. In addition to cherry blossoms, around 85,000 tulips and 130,000 rapeseed flowers are blooming beautifully in the park. As a special initiative, admission will be free on April 19.
