The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, and Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa (Location: 3-13-1 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Ayumi Imai) are pleased to announce the opening of two outdoor pools for the summer of 2026. Starting Friday, July 17, the 'Diamond Pool,' surrounded by lush greenery, will be open during the daytime, and starting Saturday, July 25, the open-air rooftop 'Sky Pool' will be open at night, offering a luxurious resort experience in the heart of the city.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, these Prince Hotels in the Takanawa area, which feature a natural Japanese garden, are opening their two outdoor pools for the summer vacation season. With growing interest in 'staycations' that allow for easy travel while saving on transportation costs, guests can enjoy a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city in two distinct spaces.
The garden pool, which feels like an oasis resort, includes a 0.6m deep pool for small children to enjoy safely. Additionally, the special 'ICE Park Day' event will be held for three days, allowing families to cool off and create summer memories with ice. The rooftop pool, enveloped in the fantastical sky as it transitions from dusk to night, offers a luxurious and healing nighttime experience under a vast sky that makes you forget you are in the city center.
In addition to stay plans that allow guests to enjoy both pools at a great value, children aged 12 and under accompanied by an adult can use the pools for free if they are staying at the Prince Hotels in the Takanawa area.
