This is a collaborative project with "Enjoy Towadako," a company operating in the western part of Lake Towada. Their covered sightseeing boat will be chartered exclusively for hotel guests. Onboard, guests will be served espresso lattes and hot chocolate made with an Italian espresso machine. Enjoy a special 50-minute cruise, feeling the vibrant autumn foliage up close, accompanied by the captain's explanations of Lake Towada's history and nature. Himemasu, a treasured fish, was successfully artificially hatched and released in Lake Towada—a lake once thought to be devoid of fish—by Mr. Wani in the Meiji era, overcoming numerous failures and hardships. In January 2015, it was registered as a "Regional Collective Trademark" as "Towada Lake Himemasu." Its salmon-pink flesh lacks the unique smell of freshwater fish and is characterized by its elegant sweetness and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
