Biwako Otsu Prince Hotel Launches Free Shuttle Service: 'Otsu O-Sanpo Bus' Connects Key Tourist Spots in Otsu City

Biwako Otsu Prince Hotel (located at 4-7-7 Onohama, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture; General Manager: Takayuki Nakayama) proudly announces its participation in Otsu City's pilot program utilizing hotel shuttle buses for overnight guests. From Saturday, August 1, 2026, to Wednesday, March 31, 2027, the hotel will operate a special complimentary shuttle service titled 'Otsu O-Sanpo Bus' on approximately 20 designated days.

In line with our mission to improve guest convenience and enhance secondary transportation options, we are joining Otsu City's demonstration project aimed at extending visitors’ stay durations and increasing tourism spending. Through this free shuttle service, we aim to introduce guests to Otsu’s seasonal attractions, such as daytime sightseeing after checkout or evening night tours following dinner. As a hotel welcoming both domestic and international guests, we are committed to promoting the unique charm of Otsu through locally rooted experiences and, with your cooperation, contributing to the development of regional tourism.
