Otsu Prince Hotel Lake Biwa (Address: 4-7-7 Onohama, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture; General Manager: Takayuki Nakayama) will offer special children's menus during the summer vacation from Saturday, July 18, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026, at four of its in-house restaurants, under the theme of 'Supporting Little Guests' Debut.'

Summer vacation is a special season when children can challenge themselves and encounter new experiences. 'Enjoying French cuisine for the first time using a knife and fork,' 'Experiencing the long-awaited afternoon tea,' 'Tasting hotel Chinese cuisine for the first time,' 'Savoring seasonal kaiseki dishes one by one'—each of these 'firsts' is a step up the ladder to adulthood for children and a precious memory that families will cherish.

First French Course

At French restaurant Bois de Sejour, we propose a 'First French Course' debut, allowing children to enjoy an authentic course meal. The course includes fun elements such as learning table manners and knife-and-fork use, a 'plating experience' where children decorate their plates with their favorite sauces, and a puzzle hidden in the menu book to solve after the meal—making it an exciting experience for kids. Additionally, at Lobby Lounge Port Nio, we offer an 'First Afternoon Tea' with adorable sweets and savory items crafted by the hotel's patissier, sized just right for children.
