SANABURI Distillery Wins Double Gold at TWSC2026 for Sansho Spirits and SANABURI Gin

SANABURI Co., Ltd., based in Oga City, Akita Prefecture, announced that its SANABURI Distillery won two Gold medals at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC2026). The 'SANABURI SPIRITS Sansho prototype01' took gold in the Other Spirits category, while 'SANABURI GIN prototype02' won gold in the Gin category. These products creatively upcycle sake lees, transforming potential waste into high-quality craft spirits. Distiller Kazuki Tsuruta expressed pride in this early milestone and remains committed to further refining their craft to produce high-quality Japanese craft spirits.
