Eikei University (President: Mutsuhiro Arinobu, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) will welcome 21 students and teachers from Phan Dinh Phung High School, a prestigious school in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Friday, May 29, 2026, to conduct an international exchange program featuring interactions with Eikei University students, workshops, and university introductions.
Phan Dinh Phung High School is known as one of the highly-regarded public high schools in Vietnam, recognized as a preparatory school for top-performing students. The school has a sister-school partnership with Hiroshima Prefectural Kake High School, and to date, two Vietnamese students from Kake High School have enrolled at Eikei University.
Through this visit, the university aims to create a venue for dialogue and learning that transcends language and cultural barriers. The program includes university introductions and campus tours by Vietnamese students currently enrolled at Eikei, a workshop by lecturer Ya-Fang Cheng, and a lunch exchange between students.
