In April 2026, the Prefectural University of Hiroshima newly established the Department of Informatics.

To commemorate the establishment of this department, we are opening our special course for enrolled students, 'Frontier of Informatics Connecting with Society,' to the public. This lecture serves as an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of their specialized fields and research activities, while also learning how informatics education and research at the university connect with society.

We invite everyone to attend this event to gain a deeper understanding of our education and research, as well as the links between informatics and the local community and society. We also ask media organizations to cooperate in publicizing this event.
