Eikei University to Host Exclusive Press Event on June 26: Commemorating the Publication of 'Social Design for the Post-Urban Era: Hiroshima as a Social Implementation City'

Eikei University (President: Mutsuhiro Arunobu, located in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City) will host an event on Friday, June 26, 2026, at its campus titled 'Social Design for the Post-Urban Era: Hiroshima as a Social Implementation City,' organized by the Social Design Center.

The event will bring together nine leading practitioners from Hiroshima across diverse fields, including the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, finance, sports, manufacturing, startups, and community initiatives. Amid major societal shifts such as population decline, industrial transformation, and the advancement of AI, the discussion will explore the potential of positioning Hiroshima as a 'social implementation city'—a place where new value creation and social innovation emerge.
