Rakus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takanori Nakamura; hereinafter 'Rakus') will implement an update to the Assist AI feature of its cloud-based sales management system 'Rakuraku Hanbai' starting Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

With this update, the database configuration proposal and automated construction function—previously offered primarily to customers handling intangible goods—will now support customers in manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and other sectors dealing with tangible goods.

This functionality will be provided at no additional cost as a standard feature to all existing 'Rakuraku Hanbai' customers.

Growing Demand in Sales Management for Tangible Goods

Due to market fluctuations such as rising raw material prices, companies handling tangible goods are increasingly required to centrally manage operations such as inventory, procurement, and production control within their sales management systems, enabling optimized inventory management and data-driven demand forecasting.

This update enables AI to support these tangible goods-specific operations, proposing and automatically constructing foundational database configurations tailored to each customer’s business, thereby streamlining the initial setup of the sales management system.

Key Features

AI Proposes and Automatically Constructs Database Configurations Suitable for Tangible Goods

Previously focused on intangible goods operations such as project management and subscription management, the AI now supports tangible goods operations including inbound/outbound logistics and manufacturing status tracking for made-to-order production. It can now propose and automatically construct foundational database structures across various industries.

AI and Customer Success Collaborate to Support Optimal System Setup for Each Customer

In addition to AI recommendations based on expertise in sales management operations, experienced Customer Success professionals will support system configuration and operations, enabling the construction of a sales management system optimized for each customer.

Future Outlook

Going forward, Rakus will gradually expand the range of operations that AI can propose and automatically construct, enhancing accuracy to support broader sales management functions and strengthening integration with peripheral systems.

Additionally, the company will continue developing features enabling AI to support customers from initial setup through ongoing operations, further contributing to the efficiency of sales management operations.
