Rakuten Securities Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuji Kusunoki; hereinafter referred to as "Rakuten Securities") is pleased to announce that as of July 19, 2026 (Sun), a new "OrderBoost" function, which enhances the resolution of order book information, will be newly installed in the PC-based trading tool "MARKETSPEED II®". This will enable customers to grasp in real-time, for the first time in the industry (*), where their own orders are currently positioned (i.e., in which position on the order book they are lined up).
[Business Model Patent Pending (as of July 6, 2026)]
The newly provided "OrderBoost" will be equipped with a variety of functions that expand the order book information functions of "MARKETSPEED II®". In addition to visualizing the order book information, which has previously been displayed only as price-level quotes with orders from all market participants accumulated, it will now be possible to visualize by individual order, and to identify stocks with frequent order fluctuations.
As an enhancement to the order book information function, it will include an "Order Indicator" that allows visual grasp of one's own order position with a bar, and an "Order List on Board" that displays a list of all orders at a specified price in the order they were placed, showing the quantity of orders (number of shares placed in a single order) and allowing users to check in a list where their own orders are currently positioned (i.e., in which position on the order book they are lined up). This will enable customers to enhance the resolution of order book information in real-time, analyze the order trends of market participants in detail, and expect more strategic trading decisions, leading to more accurate order placement at precise prices and improved execution rates.
Furthermore, the "Correction/Cancellation Count" function, which can display the number of correction and cancellation orders for each stock in real-time, will allow users to identify stocks with active order changes in the market. Frequent order fluctuations are said to be traces of algorithmic trading by large investors or the battles between market participants, and this function can be utilized as reference information for stock selection.
"OrderBoost" is available for free from the day after the achievement date until the end of the following month if you execute at least 5 trades in margin trading for domestic stocks within a month. Additionally, from July 19, 2026 (Sun) to the end of August 2026, during the trial period, all Rakuten Securities account holders can use it regardless of the number of trades.
Rakuten Securities is constantly striving to enhance its services to improve the investment experience for its customers. In particular, "MARKETSPEED II®", in addition to features such as various algorithmic order functions and multi-window functionality, is a high-performance trading tool that allows for the analysis and trading of not only domestic stocks but also US stocks and CFDs within a single tool, enabling a balance of diverse product trading strategies and convenience, and is used by a large number of customers.
As a "partner in wealth building," Rakuten Securities strives to improve and expand its services to meet diverse investment needs and maximize customers' Financial Well-Being.
Features of Rakuten Securities' new "OrderBoost" function for "MARKETSPEED II®"
1. "Order Indicator": Visualizes order book information by order unit!
Previously, order book information was displayed as price-level quotes with orders from all market participants accumulated. Now, it can be broken down to individual order units, visualized in real-time, and confirmed with bars. This allows for instantaneous grasp of the trends of large investors and the thickness of orders, dramatically improving the accuracy of judgments in reading the supply and demand balance of the market.
2. "Order List on Board": Displays the waiting status of your own orders in real-time!
It allows for a real-time visualization of where your own orders are currently positioned (i.e., in which position on the order book they are lined up) by displaying a list of all orders at the price you wish to check on the order book, in the order they were placed, along with their order quantities (number of shares placed in a single order). This provides an objective understanding of the distance to execution and the possibility of execution at the current price range, enabling more prompt and accurate decisions such as price revisions or order cancellations.
3. "Correction/Cancellation Count": Displays the number of correction and cancellation orders for each stock!
It will be possible to display the number of correction and cancellation orders for each stock in real-time. Frequent order fluctuations are said to be traces of algorithmic trading by large investors or the battles between market participants. By utilizing this function, users can identify stocks with active order changes in the market and use this information as a reference for stock selection.
