Reach Alternatives (Reals), a certified NPO, has launched the 'Bring Back the Blue Sky for Children: Mental Health Support Project' on the crowdfunding service READYFOR to provide psychological care to children in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. The project aims to raise 10 million yen in donations between June 1 and July 22, 2026.

Even after the ceasefire in October 2025, the memories of war continue to leave deep emotional scars on children in Gaza, with over 90% reported to show symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Reals emphasizes mental health care as an 'essential infrastructure for survival,' equivalent to food and water.

In collaboration with child psychiatrist Dr. Ibuki Ozawa (Everybeing), the project will develop activities centered on the following three pillars:

1. Spreading 'Psychological First Aid (PFA)': Training for 300 general residents. 2. Developing local support personnel: Training approximately 30 local NGO staff and community workers. 3. Creating 'safe spaces' for children: Establishing 'Child-Friendly Spaces' for recreation and art therapy.
