REDEE Inc. (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; CEO: Yuki Mitsuyama), in cooperation with Sofmap Co., Ltd. and Intel Corporation, will hold a 'Game Creator Trial Event' using Minecraft and ROBLOX on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The venue will be Sofmap eSports Studio AKIBA (Akihabara, Tokyo).

This event is a hands-on programming experience designed to provide children, primarily elementary school students, with an opportunity to transition from being players to creators. Participation is free, and advance registration is currently being accepted. Same-day participation is also possible if slots are available.

It is possible to take both the Minecraft course and the ROBLOX course simultaneously.

Free event to learn the 'joy of creation' using Minecraft and ROBLOX

The event will feature two types of workshops: a 'Minecraft Programming Experience' using Minecraft Education Edition, and a 'ROBLOX Game Creative Experience' where participants can try creating original games in ROBLOX. Instructors will provide thorough support, so even children new to programming or game creation can participate with confidence. The difficulty level is adjustable, making the event accessible to elementary, junior high, and senior high school students as well.

Participants will learn about game mechanics and operating principles using gaming notebook PCs equipped with the latest CPUs. The process of free creation and production aims to foster logical thinking and creativity in children.

The venue, eSports Studio AKIBA, is a permanent esports facility located on the 8th floor of Sofmap AKIBA PC & Digital Hall.
