REJECT, an esports team operated by REJECT Inc., in collaboration with Sony Network Communications' 'NURO' brand, has announced its participation in the 'Corporate Project,' an industry-academia collaboration system implemented by Kobe Koyo Design & Technology College and Fukuoka Design & Technology College (TECH.C.). This initiative, now in its second year since 2024, aims to cultivate young talent for the next generation of the esports and creative industries. For the further development of esports, it is crucial to have not only professional players on stage but also creators behind the scenes who build the environment for peak performance. Through this project, REJECT and NURO provide students with practical education in an environment close to professional production sites. In the 2024 fiscal year, the project led to the 'Kairai Cup Powered by NURO Hikari,' where students handled everything from production and operation to creative design. In the 2025 fiscal year, students developed promotional video concepts based on given tasks, receiving direct advice from NURO's marketing team and REJECT members. Six teams from the Fukuoka and Kobe campuses participated, crossing departmental boundaries. After two months of presentations and evaluations, the finalists produced promotional videos featuring REJECT streamer YAS. Students managed the entire process from planning and shooting to editing, honing their creativity and practical skills. Through this project, students learned the importance of balancing creative expression with client-focused clarity and gained professional insights into production workflows. REJECT remains committed to nurturing young talent for the future of the esports and creative industries alongside NURO.
