Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre (located in Toshima Ward, Tokyo) will hold the Youth Theatre Project in July and August 2026, where the next generation will experience stage art creation alongside cutting-edge artists.
In this program, high school students will participate as actors to experience drama creation. Led by playwright, director, and actor Ryo Horikoshi (Ayame Juhachiban), participants will create and perform a 15-minute piece titled "Harumachi Sumire" (written by Ryo Horikoshi) over seven days.
No drama experience required. This is a co-creation program open to all high school students.
