Overview of Codedamon Beacon

Codedamon Beacon is a desktop gadget that connects to a PC via USB Type-C.

It detects when Claude Code completes a process and visually notifies the user by moving the Zundamon figure attached to the top of the device up and down.

Since users can know when a process is complete without having to keep watching the screen, they can monitor the progress of AI coding while focusing on other tasks.

What is Codedamon?

Codedamon is an interactive UI that allows users to utilize Claude Code via a browser.

It was released on GitHub in April 2026. It uses Claude Code directly as its engine without involving proprietary AI models or intermediate servers.

Development Background

Claude Code often requires processes that take several minutes to several tens of minutes to complete.

This product is designed as a small companion to physically deliver the message that a process has 'finished'.

It features a silent operation design to ensure no audio interruptions during meetings or intensive work sessions.

The base size is 42×30×60mm, and the total height including the Zundamon figure is approximately 132mm, making it a compact size that does not obstruct the corner of a desk.

It is compatible with both Mac and Windows and starts operating simply by plugging in a USB Type-C cable.
