SMW Japan to Begin Handling Italian Luxury Interior Brand ＜Rimadesio＞

SMW Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Alessio Giacomer) has acquired the exclusive distribution rights in Japan for the Italian interior brand ＜Rimadesio＞, and will begin full-scale operations within the year.

This will allow the brand's products to be developed in the Japanese market under a consistent concept, aiming for further enhancement of brand value. Through this partnership, the company plans to open a new showroom in Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, within the year, as a base for proposing total interior spaces that integrate the German premium kitchen brand "SieMatic," which the company also handles, with "Rimadesio."

Rimadesio An interior brand founded in Italy in 1956. It develops products that integrate with architecture through innovative use of materials, primarily glass, and sophisticated aluminum frame structures. Based on customer requests, it creates unique spaces tailored to the individuality and layout of the space.

It offers a diverse range of products that comprehensively constitute the entire space, including doors, partitions, storage systems, and furniture, and has been adopted in various projects such as residences, hotels, commercial facilities, and offices. Combining sophisticated design with high functionality, it achieves a sense of unity and refined beauty in space. At Milan Design Week 2026, Rimadesio will announce "BECOMING," a concept commemorating its 70th anniversary. This concept, which will guide the brand throughout the year, unites design, architecture, art, and human connection.

1. New Collection Announcement at Flagship Store At the flagship store on Via Visconti di Modrone, the latest collection by architect Giuseppe Bavuso will be unveiled. Centering on system furniture incorporating innovative materials and finishes, it will update the brand's aesthetic.
