MikaL, formerly of the K-POP boy group DGNA and now a solo artist active in Japan and Korea, has announced the release of his new song "Kaidan ROCK - Someone's There" on Saturday, April 11, 2026, via M-Card, with lyrics and production by ghost story teller Kaidanka Ami.

The song was first performed as the theme for the stage play 'Asakusa Kaidan Yashiki' (Asakusa Ghost Story House), written and directed by Ami in February 2026, and became a hot topic among the audience for being "catchy" and "addictive." This marks its long-awaited release.

Known as a great lover of ghost stories, MikaL has been deeply involved in the world of kaidan, holding events with Ami not only in Japan but also in Korea.

This work combines Ami's unique "kotodama" (spirit of words) with MikaL's emotional and powerful vocals, creating an unprecedented new expression of "Kaidan x ROCK."

Furthermore, the music video will feature his first dance performance since his time in DGNA.

With catchy choreography that makes you want to imitate it and an addictive melody, the work is memorable both visually and aurally.

On the day of the release, Saturday, April 11, a special release event will be held at the Asakusa Hana Theater.

And on the following day, Sunday, April 12, a special commemorative LIVE performance has also been scheduled.

These two days, dubbed the "Asakusa Special," will feature a special bonus event for purchasers.

It will be a rare opportunity to enjoy content that can only be experienced here over the two days.

The release event will include a free mini-live concert, in addition to a bonus event for M-Card purchasers.

Anyone can participate, so please take this opportunity to experience MikaL's music and worldview.

Also, the SPECIAL LIVE on the following day, the 12th (Sunday), will feature a stage that includes not only "Kaidan ROCK - Someone's There" but also a mix of songs from various genres.

You can fully enjoy the charm of MikaL, who has a reputation for his high vocal ability, in the immersive atmosphere that only a live performance can offer.

The "fear and exhilaration" that cannot be fully appreciated from the sound source alone, and an expressive power that transcends genres--

We hope you will experience the charm of MikaL, which can only be encountered on these two days, at the venue.
