Takichi Nagahisa's 'Karura Mau' 40th Anniversary: 'Office Karura Original Art Exhibition' Pop-Up Shop at Shinjuku Marui Annex! Plus Fan Meeting Celebration

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of 'Metamorphosis Demon-Exorcising Night Walk: Karura Mau!', it has been announced that the 'Takichi Nagahisa <40th Anniversary of Karura Mau> Office Karura Original Art Exhibition' will be held from Saturday, August 1, 2026, to Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Shinjuku Marui Annex.

The exhibition will feature the display and sale of rare original and reproduction artworks by Takichi Nagahisa, including those from 'Karura Mau', allowing visitors to experience up close the powerful impact and delicate linework unique to original art, which cannot be fully appreciated in comic books.

Additionally, rare works by Chikashi Shiomimi and Aqua Mizu will also be exhibited at the venue.

Exclusive original goods available only at the event venue will also be sold. Please look forward to them.

Furthermore, a fan meeting to celebrate the pop-up shop opening will be held on Saturday, August 8, at Shinjuku Marui Men. Takichi Nagahisa, Chikashi Shiomimi, and Aqua Mizu will share precious insights, including behind-the-scenes stories and their thoughts on their works—content you can't hear anywhere else.

At the fan meeting, VIP ticket holders will receive a special gift: an on-the-spot drawing of a character or work of their choice by one of the artists. General ticket holders will be invited to a joint autograph session with all three artists.

This is a special event where you can fully immerse yourself in the world of 'Karura Mau' on its 40th anniversary milestone. Whether you've long loved the series or are experiencing it for the first time, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Fan meeting tickets will go on official pre-sale and Takichi Nagahisa Fan Club pre-sale (first-come, first-served) starting Monday, July 13, at 17:00.
