The Japan Riders Forum (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Fukuma Fukashi) announces that registration for the 'Japan's Three Sacred Mountains Rally 2026,' a motorcycle event visiting Japan's three sacred mountains, will open on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

This event, organized in collaboration with the Japan Three Sacred Mountains Tourism Promotion Council (Ishikawa, Toyama, and Shizuoka Prefectures), is a pilgrimage-style rally where riders travel by motorcycle to Japan's iconic sacred peaks—Mount Fuji, Mount Tate, and Mount Haku—symbols of Japan's mountain worship. The event aims to deepen participants' connection with nature, elevate their mental and technical skills, and promote tourism by allowing riders to experience the natural beauty, history, and culture of the host regions.

Registration Details

Registration Period: July 21, 2026 (Tue) 12:00 PM – August 20, 2026 (Thu) 11:59 PM

Number of Participants: 2,000 motorcycles (first-come, first-served; registration closes once capacity is reached)

Entry Fee (tax included):

Solo: ¥6,776 (plus ¥216 system usage fee at payment)

Tandem: ¥9,776 (plus ¥312 system usage fee at payment)

Registration Method: Applications must be submitted via the dedicated entry website, 'JRF ENTRY SYSTEM'.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid driver's license for operating the motorcycle. Passengers in tandem rides are exempt from this requirement.

Participants must own a smartphone or tablet with GPS functionality and internet connectivity to use the dedicated system (for start/finish registration, point collection at checkpoints, and transmission of ride logs).

Participants must comply with traffic laws and practice safe riding. Any violation of traffic regulations or illegal behavior will result in disqualification from future events.

Minors may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must agree to the terms outlined in the pledge agreement.

Participants must respect the operating hours and parking regulations of each stop, ensuring they do not disrupt facility operations or traffic.

Vehicle Requirements

Motorcycles must be legally registered and covered by compulsory insurance. Motorcycles with engine displacements of 251cc or more must also pass vehicle inspections. Special two-wheelers, sidecars, and trikes are eligible. Vehicles may be owned or rented.

Vehicles must be equipped with an accurate odometer for measuring travel distance.

Vehicles with illegal modifications or mufflers that exceed JMCA noise regulations are not permitted.

Registration Notes

No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to personal circumstances, regardless of the reason.

For tandem entries, the driver must complete the entry form.

Sidecar riders without a passenger should register under the solo category.

Even if the vehicle can accommodate three people, the maximum number of registered participants per vehicle is two.

Registration via feature phones (dumb phones) is not supported.

If payment via convenience store or bank transfer is selected, failure to complete payment by the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the application.
