Tenya Introduces Summer Limited Menus Including 'Tenya-Style Hiyajiru Udon' and 'Chilled Bonito Soba' Starting June 11

Tendon Tenya, operated by Royal Group, will offer summer limited menus from Thursday, June 11 to late September 2026. In preparation for the full arrival of summer, we have prepared chilled noodle menus that can be enjoyed refreshingly even on hot days, such as the 'Tenya-Style Hiyajiru Udon', which combines our first-ever 'Hiyajiru' (cold soup) with udon, and the 'Chilled Bonito Soba'. Additionally, Tenya's standard summer menu, 'Oedo Tendon with Sauce', will also be featured.

From the Royal Group's 'Good JAPAN' initiative, which delivers the charms of various regions in Japan through menus, we are developing dishes using domestic ingredients such as Setouchi 'Sea Bream', the highly acclaimed 'Toro-ri Umanasu' eggplant from last year's release, and 'Bonito Tataki'. Please enjoy the flavors unique to this season not only in-store but also for takeout.

'Tenya-Style Hiyajiru Udon' Making its first appearance at Tenya, the 'Tenya-Style Hiyajiru Udon' is a confident new work born with meticulous attention to detail. Based on Kyushu barley miso, which has a sweet yet refreshing mouthfeel, it is combined with Setouchi 'Sea Bream', 'Cucumber', and 'Eggplant', finishing with a flavorful and cool taste. Along with the smooth udon noodles, you can enjoy it lightly even on hot days. Furthermore, the tempura features 'Shrimp', 'Green Beans', and 'Toro-ri Umanasu', characterized by its juicy sweetness and flesh that melts when heated. By dipping the tempura in the 'Hiyajiru', you can further enjoy the balance of richness and refreshment.

'Chilled Bonito Soba' A satisfying dish that combines fragrantly finished 'Bonito Tataki Tempura' with just the right amount of fat and a refreshing flavor, melt-in-the-mouth sweet 'Toro-ri Umanasu' tempura, and plump 'Sillago Half' tempura, served refreshingly with Tenya's proud Yabu Soba. * 'Toro-ri Umanasu®' is a registered trademark of Tokita Seed Co., Ltd.

'Oedo Tendon with Sauce' A popular product representing Tenya's summer, sold since 2007. Large, plump 'Live-Killed Whole Conger Eel', substantial 'Large Squid', and classic popular 'Shrimp' and 'Green Beans' are fragrantly fried and passed through a sweet and spicy bowl sauce. It is a tendon that whets the appetite even in the hot season with its deep richness and light eating feel.

New 'Feast Tendon' featuring two types of conger eel, and seasonal takeout to enjoy at home! From the 'Feast Series', lavishly packed with satisfying 'Natural Jumbo Shrimp' and fluffy, soft textured 'Live-Killed Whole Simmered Conger Eel', the 'Feast Tendon with 2 Types of Conger Eel' appears. In addition to the 'Summer Tempura Assortment' where you can taste limited-time tempura at home, single item tempura is also available for takeout.
