The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu (located at 5-6-20 Nakasu, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka; General Manager: Tohoyuki Nagai) will host the 'CANVAS FUKUOKA NAKASU×REC COFFEE Special Event 2026' three times—in July and October 2026, and January 2027—at the 2F Canvas Lounge. The first event, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, will center on the theme of 'Comparative Tasting of Iced Coffee by Brewing Method Paired with Sweets.' Guests can sample iced coffee prepared using three different methods—cold brew, iced Americano, and iced drip—and enjoy pairings with desserts that highlight the unique characteristics of each coffee. With explanations from professional baristas, attendees can experience the nuanced flavor differences brought about by brewing techniques and discover the harmonious interplay between coffee and sweets.

Experience the refreshing taste of summer iced coffee through a comparative tasting of three brewing methods: cold brew, iced Americano, and iced drip. Each method’s distinct flavor profile will be enhanced with specially curated desserts crafted by the patissier from 'ONO HAKATA -Octo Natura Kyusyu-,' tailored to complement the coffee’s characteristics. Enjoy this exclusive, one-day-only flavor experience where coffee and desserts elevate each other. Available for both in-lounge consumption and takeout.

① Nougat Glacé with Fukuoka’s Itoshima Honey (ITOHACHI)

A delicate nougat glacé made with pure, gently sweet honey from Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, known for its rich, floral aroma. Combined with dried fruits and nuts, this dessert offers a delightful contrast between the honey’s refined flavor and the crunchy texture of the nuts.

② Alphonso Mango Pudding

A smooth and creamy mango pudding crafted with Alphonso mangoes, known as the 'King of Mangoes,' capturing their intense sweetness and vibrant fragrance. This luxurious dessert is perfect for the summer season.

③ Caramel Glacé with Amakusa Sea Salt from Kumamoto

A caramel-flavored nougat glacé made with slightly bitter caramelized nuts, enhanced with a pinch of sea salt harvested from seawater in Amakusa, Kumamoto Prefecture. The subtle saltiness accentuates the depth of the caramel and the roasted nuttiness, creating a sophisticated, adult-oriented flavor.
