RX Japan Co., Ltd. will host the 37th Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Award ceremony on Saturday, July 4, starting at 14:00 at the Reception Hall, 1st floor of the Conference Building at Tokyo Big Sight.
The Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Award recognizes individuals who have been the brightest stars in their respective generations and best suited for jewelry over the past year, selected by generation and category.
In addition to the previously announced winners, it has been decided that Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will receive an award.
As Vice President of the Jewelry Parliamentarians League, which supports the development of the jewelry industry, Prime Minister Takaichi has been deeply involved in the industry's progress for many years. Through her activities and exchanges with industry stakeholders, including the Japan Jewellery Association, she has contributed to the revitalization of the domestic jewelry industry, the promotion of Japanese manufacturing and the 'Japan Brand,' as well as human resource development and skills inheritance.
Furthermore, she has consistently worn jewelry, including pearls, with dignity in public settings, leaving a lasting impression of the beauty and value of Japanese jewelry.
This award is selected based on votes from the jewelry industry. Industry members expressed that Prime Minister Takaichi, who continues to shine with strong belief and dignity while opening up a new era as the first female Prime Minister of Japan, is highly deserving of this award. In anticipation that this award will bring further brightness and vitality to the industry, it was decided that she would receive a Special Award.
The award ceremony will be held as part of 'TOKYO JEWELRY FES ’26 Summer.' Those who wish to participate in the ceremony must apply in advance (paid). Please check the website for details. Please note that to attend the ceremony, you must both apply for attendance and register for admission to the TOKYO JEWELRY FES exhibition.
