MUJI Launches New "Cotton Dobby Weave Check Yukata Pajamas" and "Cotton Dobby Weave Check Jinbei" for Children

Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo / President and Representative Director: Tomo Shimizu), which operates MUJI, will sequentially launch children's "Cotton Dobby Weave Check Yukata Pajamas" and "Cotton Dobby Weave Check Jinbei" from June 15 (Monday) at 8 MUJI stores, primarily large stores, and online.

Ryohin Keikaku aims to enrich and organize daily life based on the "value that simplicity is not inferior to luxury," towards the realization of "a pleasant life and society," and provides products and services.

MUJI has previously offered children's clothing tailored to the seasons. Against the backdrop of recent extreme heat, we have reviewed previous specifications and developed a series with breathable materials and easy everyday use to ensure comfort even in hot weather. This product uses organic cotton dobby weave fabric. Dobby weave is characterized by creating fine unevenness and three-dimensionality on the surface through its weaving method. This unevenness reduces the contact area with the skin, allowing for good breathability and a smooth, comfortable feel that continues even in sweaty seasons.

Cotton Dobby Weave Check Yukata Pajamas (Kids/Baby)

These are yukata pajamas made from thin, breathable fabric. With the attached obi, they can also be used as yukata for special occasions like festivals. The obi is made from MUJI's popular double gauze material, finished to be fluffy and soft. They feature an elastic waistband for easy changing. Without the obi, they can be worn as sleepwear, making them ideal for summer nights with their light comfort.

Cotton Dobby Weave Check Jinbei (Kids/Baby)

These are children's jinbei made from thin, breathable fabric. In addition to being used as sleepwear, they are versatile for a wide range of occasions, from relaxing at home to festivals and summer outings.
