【Online Training in August 2026: Supervisor Training Course (with Safety and Health Supervisor)】Convenient Online Training Schedule Now Available

Im Safe LLC offers the【Supervisor Training (with Safety and Health Supervisor)】, as stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare guidelines, through convenient online training sessions that can be attended from your workplace or home.

The schedule for August 2026 has now been released.

Under Article 60 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, employers must provide safety and health training to newly appointed supervisors and others who directly supervise or instruct workers during operations, if their workplace’s industry falls under those defined in Article 19 of the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Act.

Due to amendments to the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, effective April 1, 2023 (Reiwa 5), industries previously exempt—"Food manufacturing (excluding flavoring and animal/plant oil manufacturing, already covered)" and "Newspaper, publishing, bookbinding, and printed matter processing industries"—are now newly included, making supervisor training mandatory in these sectors.

※ Traditionally covered industries for supervisor training include: construction, manufacturing (partially excluded), electricity, gas, machinery repair, and automobile maintenance.

Organizational changes in these industries now also require supervisor qualifications.

Im Safe’s Supervisor Training complies with Article 60 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, fulfilling the legal training requirement.

"When the type of business at a workplace falls under those specified by cabinet order, employers must provide education on the following matters to newly appointed supervisors and others who directly supervise or instruct workers during operations (excluding work supervisors), in accordance with regulations set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare."

When a General Safety and Health Manager is appointed, contractors other than the appointing entity who perform the work themselves must appoint a Safety and Health Supervisor【Industrial Safety and Health Act Article 16】.

Additionally, on medium-scale construction sites (generally employing 10–49 workers), where a person equivalent to a General Safety and Health Manager is appointed, relevant subcontractors are requested to appoint a person equivalent to a Safety and Health Supervisor【Heisei 5, Notice No. 209-2】.

A 14-hour theoretical curriculum designed for individuals expected to be appointed as supervisors in industries requiring training—including construction, manufacturing (partially excluded), electricity, gas, machinery repair, automobile maintenance, food manufacturing (excluding flavoring and animal/plant oil manufacturing, already covered), newspaper, publishing, bookbinding, and printed matter processing industries—and for those expected to be appointed as Safety and Health Supervisors, to acquire necessary knowledge and practical skills.

※ A certificate of completion for the 14-hour theoretical training, based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare guidelines, will be issued within approximately 3 business days.
