“Sakura no Mori,” a mail-order brand operated by Sakura Forest Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City; CEO: Leo Takashima), invited loyal customers of its DHA and EPA supplement “Kinari Series” to view a performance at the Kabuki-za theater in Tokyo on May 15, 2026, followed by a roundtable discussion.

This initiative was aimed at spending time experiencing traditional Japanese performing arts with selected winners of the “Kabuki Ticket Giveaway Campaign” held in April 2026, while directly hearing their thoughts on daily health habits and future life enjoyments.

*1 Within the Kinari Series as of October 2013 to May 2026.

During the first round of the Kabuki ticket giveaway, feedback such as “I was interested but never had the chance to go” and “I am happy to have an opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture” was received. It became an opportunity to connect with the individual sentiments of customers, going beyond a simple ticket giveaway.

In response to this positive reaction, a second campaign is scheduled to launch in July 2026, offering tickets for the Super Kabuki play “Princess Mononoke” at the Shinbashi Enbujo theater.

Moving forward, the Kinari Series will continue to create products that support daily health habits, while cherishing the relationships with customers and providing experiential opportunities that lead to positive daily living for both mind and body.

[First Round] Kabuki Ticket Giveaway Campaign Overview

Prize: One Kabuki-za performance ticket given to 10 winners by lottery.

Eligibility: Users of the Kinari Series.

Purpose: To offer customers an experience of Japanese culture by leveraging the affinity between “Kinari,” born from the wisdom of traditional Japanese dietary culture, and Kabuki, a traditional Japanese performing art.

A Roundtable Discussion Born from the Desire to “Hear Customers' Voices Directly”

The first Kabuki ticket giveaway campaign in April 2026 received applications far exceeding the number of winners. Furthermore, each sentence written on the application forms was filled with the personal thoughts of the applicants.

“We want to meet our customers and hear their voices directly.” This roundtable was realized from such a desire.

Winners selected by lottery were contacted again and asked to participate in the theater viewing and the subsequent roundtable discussion.

Feedback After Viewing at Kabuki-za

On the day of the event, participants gathered in front of Kabuki-za.

While staff were preparing welcome panels, some customers even approached first, asking, “Are you from Sakura no Mori?” before any signs were displayed.

Thanks to a previously sent letter containing a photo of the project manager, a sense of anticipation was shared beforehand, allowing conversations to start in a relaxed atmosphere despite it being a first-time meeting.

Before the play, everyone seemed to enjoy the solemn and glamorous atmosphere of the theater, the anticipation filling the audience, and the excitement when the curtain rose.

After the viewing, continuous voices of being moved by the Kabuki experience were heard:

“The actors' presence was truly amazing; I couldn't take my eyes off them. I might never be able to watch from such a good seat in the 4th row again.”

“Due to COVID-19, I hadn't been able to visit for a while, so I was truly happy to watch Kabuki for the first time in a long time today. This makes me want to definitely go see it again.”

Later, one winner also shared these wonderful thoughts:

“I was deeply impressed by the breathing and intensity of the actors I saw up close, and their beautiful movements extending from fingertips to toes. Especially the moment of 'Mie' (a dramatic pose), where the intensity of their gaze, the rustle of their costumes, and the sound of the wooden clappers echoing in the body overlapped, was truly the best part of experiencing it live.”

Voices of Kinari Series Loyal Users

After the performance, the venue shifted for the roundtable discussion, where topics moved to the Kinari Series and the daily joys that support health.

“Taking it separately in the morning and at night has become my rhythm. Before I knew it, I no longer forgot to take it.”

“It has already been 8 years since I encountered 'Kinari'. I've been freed from the daily anxiety of 'I need to eat more fish.' Even when enjoying my favorite sweets, having 'Kinari' gives me a sense of security; it's like an amulet to me. Thankfully, my health checkup numbers are also excellent! It is an indispensable daily habit for maintaining my physical and mental health.”

What the long-term users shared in common was not a sense of “making a special effort,” but rather a feeling that it had “become a part of their daily lives.”

What became clear through this roundtable was that healthy habits lead not only to daily peace of mind but also to feelings of “wanting to go out again” and “wanting to enjoy new things.”
