Sakura Saketen Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture; Representative Directors: Yuichi Kondo, Ken Komazawa), a liquor store specializing in sake, in co-creation with Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, the brewer of the famous sake "ZAKU" which won 1st place in the World Sake Brewery Ranking 2019, will launch "SAKE for 2126", a sake project looking ahead 100 years into the future, on the support purchase service Makuake starting April 8, 2026.

This is not just an environmentally friendly product.

Born from the question, "Can we leave a future where we can toast with sake 100 years from now?", it is a "glass of promise to the future" that balances "deliciousness" and "sustainability".

Why "Sake of the Future" Now?

The main ingredients of sake are rice and water. Severe heat and extreme weather in recent years have begun to significantly impact rice farming and water resources. At this rate, the sake culture itself may not be sustainable.

However, as liquor stores, we cannot brew sake.

That is precisely why we asked the question, "What kind of sake do we want to leave for the future?" and challenged ourselves to give it shape together with the brewery.

Responding to that thought...
