Starting June 1, 2026, Samuraisword Inc. is launching 'My Meimeishi,' a new service that allows users to print original baby naming certificates using multi-copy machines at approximately 63,000 convenience stores nationwide. This service makes it easy to preserve the moment of naming a baby. Naming certificates are traditionally used to record a baby's name, origin, and birthday, often displayed during the 'Oshichiya' ceremony seven days after birth. However, the busy period around childbirth often makes preparing these certificates difficult. Handwritten versions can be challenging for those without calligraphy skills or supplies. To address this, we developed a service where parents can simply select a design and input details via smartphone to create a certificate. There are 21 designs available, including options to insert photos. The service costs 250 yen per print.
