Sanfrecce Hiroshima, the designated manager of the Hiroshima Soccer Stadium (Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima), held a 'Space Class' on Tuesday, June 2nd, for elementary and junior high school students in Hiroshima Prefecture as part of the PEACE WING HIROSHIMA PROJECT ONE. The class was led by Yuichi Tsuda, JAXA Deputy Director and Sanfrecce Dream & Challenge Ambassador. About 4,000 students participated, learning from Tsuda, who works at the forefront of space exploration, about the importance of having dreams and continuing to take on challenges. Tsuda is a leading Japanese space scientist who led the historic mission of the asteroid explorer 'Hayabusa2' to collect samples from the asteroid 'Ryugu,' located about 300 million kilometers away, and bring them back to Earth. During the lecture, he spoke clearly about the behind-the-scenes of the 'Hayabusa2' project, the difficulties faced during space exploration, and the mindset necessary to achieve goals as a team, using photos and slides.
