Sankei Shimbun (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Tetsuro Hanashiro) will hold an online seminar titled "Summer 2026 Emergency Measures: How 'Security Ratings' Will Change the Future of BtoB Transactions ~Completing Cyber Security DX to Turn 'Trust' into Strength~" on August 4, 2026, starting at 1 PM. This seminar will provide a thorough explanation of the "SCS Rating System," a new benchmark for BtoB transactions. It will present methods for Cyber Security DX that turn customer trust into a competitive advantage. In the keynote speech, Tetsutaro Uehara, Professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, will discuss the ideal state of fundamental security management that companies should aim for by responding to the new system. In a special lecture, Ken Sakata, Representative Director and President of JFE Cyber Security & Solutions Inc., will introduce the JFE-SIRT system, which oversees initiatives and measures for "supply chain security."

This lecture will explain the JFE Group's initiatives in supply chain security, including the centralized management of vulnerability countermeasures for approximately 300 group companies, with an eye toward the SCS Rating System. It will also introduce measures such as OT security, zero trust migration, 24-hour monitoring and incident response, and the JFE-SIRT system that oversees these efforts.
