Sanwa Supply to Launch Ultra-Compact Industrial Media Converter with PoE++ and -40°C to +75°C Support

Sanwa Supply Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okayama, Japan) is set to launch the 'LAN-MCIN301SFPP' industrial optical media converter for 10/100TX/1000T to 100/1000SFP conversion at the end of May. This device is PoE-compliant and designed for rugged industrial applications.

The product boasts exceptional environmental resilience, operating across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +75°C. This ensures stable performance in harsh conditions such as outdoor sites exposed to extreme seasonal temperatures, factories, and public infrastructure. Despite its world-class ultra-compact design, it supports Gigabit transmission and adheres to the high-power PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) standard, delivering up to 90W of power via a single LAN cable. Its robust IP30 aluminum housing provides strong resistance against vibration and impact.

Key features include PD Offsite Reboot (PDOR), allowing remote rebooting of connected devices by simply unplugging and replugging the SFP transceiver, and Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) for automatic link failure notification. It also supports full-duplex communication, flow control, and jumbo frames for high-speed, stable data transfer. Installation options include DIN rail and wall mounting, offering flexibility in space-constrained environments.
