The passionate summer of "Haikyu!! x Kasho Sanzen" is here again! Limited sale of collaboration "Date Emaki" using newly drawn visuals starts August 11th at JR Sendai Station!

Kasho Sanzen Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Aoba Ward, Sendai), manufacturer and seller of the Sendai specialty "Hagi no Tsuki," will be selling limited collaboration products using newly drawn visuals from the popular anime "Haikyu!!" for a limited time from Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The collaboration between the anime "Haikyu!!" and Kasho Sanzen, which began in 2024, enters its third year.

We are truly delighted to be able to collaborate with "Haikyu!!," which has deep ties to Sendai, as a Sendai specialty again this year, and to have been able to connect this wonderful relationship to the present thanks to all of you. We hope that this collaboration will be enjoyed by many people, including all of you who love "Haikyu!!."

Date Tech High School x Date Emaki

This year, a collaboration with "Date Emaki" has been realized, inspired by "Aone Takanobu" and "Futakuchi Kenji" from Date Tech High School in "Haikyu!!" being appointed "Sendai Tourism Special Ambassadors"! We will deliver a package that evokes the history of the 620,000 koku of Date domain, using newly drawn visuals of both characters.

Baumkuchen, made with dough kneaded with eggs and baked layer by layer, is filled with azuki bean paste and cream. This is the Sendai specialty "Date Emaki," which evokes the history of the 620,000 koku of Date domain.

The package features newly drawn visuals of "Aone Takanobu" and "Futakuchi Kenji."

About the Anime "Haikyu!!"

"Haikyu!!" by Haruichi Furudate, a monumental sports manga that began serialization in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2012, gained popularity for its passionate youth drama about high school students dedicated to volleyball.

Serialization concluded in July 2020 after eight and a half years, with a total of 45 volumes published, surpassing 75 million copies in circulation.

Starting in 2014, the TV anime adaptation has been broadcast on the MBS/TBS network, with the fourth season completed by December 2020.
