"YEBISU Beer Gourmet Grand Prix 2026" to be Held! Preliminary Voting Starts May 8th (Fri)

*Note: The image on the right is from "Beer Holiday" held in 2024 and differs from the content of the 2026 event. Sapporo Breweries Ltd., a group company of Sapporo Holdings Ltd., will host the "YEBISU Beer Gourmet Grand Prix 2026," an event co-created by Yebisu and restaurants. The final stage will be held from September 19th (Sat) at Ebisu Garden Place. Prior to this, preliminary online voting will begin on May 8th (Fri) on a special website (Note 1).

In recent years, the ways to enjoy beer have diversified, and the experience itself, not just the taste, is becoming one of the reasons to choose beer, such as "what kind of time can be spent." Against the backdrop of these expanding values, Yebisu has believed that its appeal deepens and spreads further when enjoyed with food. In 2026, we are focusing on creating experiential value that extends from the real "dining scene" through co-creation with restaurants.

This event is an evolution of the "Yebisu Beer Holiday" (Note 2) held until last year, further strengthening co-creation with restaurants. Through "a dish that pairs well with Yebisu," we aim to provide an experience of "time that satisfies the heart" created by food and Yebisu, and foster "moments where good smiles are born."

For the preliminary round, 14 restaurants in Tokyo, selected from "Exquisite Yebisu Restaurants" (Note 3), have entered. The top 4 restaurants chosen by public vote will advance to the final stage, which will be held from September 19th (Sat). In the final stage, the "YEBISU Beer Gourmet Grand Prix 2026" champion will be decided by visitor votes.

2. Content This is a food event co-created by restaurants and Yebisu with the theme of "a dish that pairs well with Yebisu." A preliminary round will be held through public online voting, and the selected restaurants will participate in the final stage at the event venue. In the final stage, the Grand Prix will be decided by visitor votes. At the final stage and the "Famous Restaurants of Ebisu Stage" held in conjunction with it after the final, you can enjoy various Yebisu beers along with food. Furthermore, at the "Famous Restaurants of Ebisu Stage," similar to last year's "Beer Holiday," top-ranking restaurants from the "Masterpiece Grand Prix" will participate with food trucks.

[Final Stage] 1. Content The 4 qualifying restaurants will set up booths at the venue and offer "a dish that pairs well with Yebisu." Visitor votes will be collected to decide the champion of the "YEBISU Beer Gourmet Grand Prix 2026."

[Famous Restaurants of Ebisu Stage] 1. Content After the final stage, the "Famous Restaurants of Ebisu Stage" will be held concurrently at the same venue. Similar to last year's "Beer Holiday," top participating restaurants from the "Masterpiece Grand Prix" conceived by Ebisu chefs, offering dishes that pair with Yebisu, will set up food trucks.
