New Security Switch "LG2000" with Smart Power Function Launched!

SAXA will launch the security switch "LG2000" from the "Office AGENT"※1 series in August 2026. This new product enhances ransomware spread prevention, achieves high-speed and stable communication with 10Gbps/2.5Gbps support, and integrates a smart power function, responding to the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks and the demand for faster communication.

Background

Sophisticated cyberattacks necessitate strengthened countermeasures across entire networks, regardless of company size. Responding to ransomware, which is consistently ranked high in IPA's "Top 10 IT Security Threats"※2, is crucial. Simultaneously, the expansion of cloud usage for server environments is driving demand for faster communication. Furthermore, operational challenges such as rapid recovery from failures and remote troubleshooting of equipment issues are becoming apparent.

Against this backdrop, SAXA is releasing the "LG2000" security switch. It inherits the security features of the previous model, LG1000, while achieving both ransomware spread prevention and high-speed communication, and incorporates a smart power function for device monitoring and recovery.

1. All-in-One Design Integrating Security, High-Speed Communication, and Power Management

This single device handles security measures, high-speed communication, and equipment power management. It provides stable high-speed communication during normal operation and enables rapid recovery through remote control during troubleshooting. This minimizes business downtime during failures and enhances business continuity.

2. Prevents Spread of Ransomware and Other Malware with Packet Monitoring and New Detection Functions

In addition to traditional packet monitoring, advanced behavior analysis using virtual machines allows for early detection and blocking of suspicious behavior of malware, including ransomware, and unknown attacks. By blocking unauthorized communication before it spreads, it minimizes the impact on critical corporate data and operations, supporting secure network operation.

3. Securely Accelerates Internal LAN with High-Speed Throughput

Achieves high-speed throughput supporting 10Gbps and 2.5Gbps. The packet monitoring method, independent of virus definition files, allows for security detection while maintaining communication speed. It enables the construction of a network environment that balances comfortable communication and security, even in environments with increasing large-volume data communication and cloud usage.

4. Smart Power Function for Rapid Recovery from Failures

The unique configuration of the LG2000, integrating a security switch and smart power, monitors the status of connected devices. If anomalies like freezes are detected, it automatically performs a power OFF/ON cycle. It also supports manual remote reboots. This accelerates failure response and minimizes business downtime, supporting stable network operation.
