The rankings include not only overall bird names but also species-specific rankings for budgerigars and cockatiels.

In the overall bird category, "Pii" has claimed first place for the third consecutive year!

Second place goes to "Sora," third to "Lemon," and fourth place is shared by "Haru" and "Pino." Sixth place is shared by "Ao," "Koko," "Pipi," "Popo," and "Momo."

"Pii," the undisputed champion, likely owes its popularity not only to its onomatopoeic resemblance to bird calls but also to its familiarity as a character name in manga and anime.

Notably, "Pino" and "Koko" have made strong showings in the rankings.
