Background and Purpose of Introduction In recent sports medicine, it has become clear that the deterioration of the oral environment (such as cavities and periodontal disease) severely affects performance. For example, poor bites reduce balance capabilities, and chronic inflammation hinders recovery. To ensure that Kashima Antlers players can always perform at their best, the Company aims to contribute to preventative approaches and injury prevention by adding a "dental" perspective to traditional medical checks.

Details of Implementation On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, oral checks were introduced into the medical checks targeting all top team players of Kashima Antlers, conducting precise examinations based on the following two pillars:

Intraoral Digital Examination using a 3D Scanner (Cooperation: Kashima Antlers Oral Care Doctor, Dr. Chihiro Yamamoto) The oral cavity is digitized in 3D to visualize the state of tooth alignment, bites, and wear. It captures subtle changes that could not be fully grasped through conventional visual inspections.

2. Periodontal Disease Testing by Saliva Collection (Cooperation: Ariake Medical Research Institute) In collaboration with our group company, the Ariake Medical Research Institute, we identify the activity of periodontal disease from saliva. By visualizing inflammation and tissue destruction that lack subjective symptoms, we connect it to early care, suppressing factors that inhibit the body's repair functions and supporting conditioning.
